Laudate Dominum concerts at Mdina and Floriana
The main work to be sung is the Mass in C major by Ludwig van Beethoven. The concert will open with two works by the French composer César Franck: Psalm 150 and the famous Panis Angelicus, in choral and orchestral arrangements.
The soloists will be Rosabelle Bianchi (soprano), Claire Massa (mezzo-soprano), Charles Vincenti (tenor), Albert Buttigieg (bass), Elisabeth Conrad (organ), Sarah Spiteri (orchestra leader) and Hugo Agius Muscat (director). The concert will start at 7.30pm and last about an hour. The first performance on 14th October in Mdina will be under the Distinguished Patronage of E.T. George Vella, President of Malta.
